Source: ORA: Amanaska (king of all yogas): A Critical Edition and Annotated Translation by Jason BirchVivṛddha (विवृद्ध) refers to “that which increases (by degrees)”, according to the Amanaska Yoga treatise dealing with meditation, absorption, yogic powers and liberation.—Accordingly, as Īśvara says to Vāmadeva: “[...] Thus, by practising absorption which increases by degrees (krama-vivṛddha), the Yogins enjoy supreme bliss, like the great-souled Bhuśuṇḍa and others. Even in the dissolutions of Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Śiva, the yogins enjoy supreme bliss, like the great-souled Bhuśuṇḍa and others. [...]”.
