Vivekagocara (विवेकगोचर) refers to the “transcendent realm”, according to the Gaganagañjaparipṛcchā: the eighth chapter of the Mahāsaṃnipāta (a collection of Mahāyāna Buddhist Sūtras).—Accordingly, “Then, the Lord went on to speak these verses: ‘[...] (68) Even though they remain in the inner and outer aspects of existence, they are not dependent on the parts of personality, fields of the senses, or realm (skandhāyatanadhātu). [Staying] in the transcendent realm (vivekagocara) of tranquility (upaśānta), the wise are always in the state of concentration (samāhita). [...]’”.
