Source: archive.org: Shiva Purana - English TranslationVivāhasamāgata (विवाहसमागत) refers to “having attended someone’s marriage”, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.3.55 (“Śiva returns to Kailāsa”).—Accordingly, after Pārvatī spoke to Śiva: “On hearing her words as pleasing as the steady flow of nectar, Śiva rejoiced much, eagerly devoted to the way of the world. Getting every requisite thing ready, he fed the gods including Viṣṇu and others with various pleasant things. He fed all the others who had attended (sva-vivāhasamāgata) His marriage with juicy cooked food of various sorts. [...]”.
