Source: Sutta: The Pali Text Society's Pali-English DictionaryVītaraṃsi refers to: rayless (?) Sn. 1016 (said of the sun; the expression is not clear. One MS. of Nd2 at this passage reads pīta°, i.e. with yellow, i.e. golden, rays; which is to be preferred). Cp. note in Index to SnA.
Note: vītaraṃsi is a Pali compound consisting of the words vīta and raṃsi.
