Viśvajanīya (विश्वजनीय).—a. good for all men, suitable to all mankind, beneficial to all men; विश्वजन्यमिमं पुण्यमुपन्यासं निबोधत (viśvajanyamimaṃ puṇyamupanyāsaṃ nibodhata) Manusmṛti 9.31; Śiśupālavadha 1.41; को वा विश्वजनीनेषु कर्मसु प्राघटि- ष्यत (ko vā viśvajanīneṣu karmasu prāghaṭi- ṣyata) Bhaṭṭikāvya 21.17.
