Viṣakta (विषक्त).—p. p.

1) Fixed firmly or closely.

2) Adhering or clinging closely to.

3) Hung or suspended on; विटप- विषक्तजलार्द्रवल्कलेषु (viṭapa- viṣaktajalārdravalkaleṣu) Ś.1.32.

4) Caused, produced; विषक्त- स्तीव्रेण व्रणितहृदयेन व्यथयता (viṣakta- stīvreṇa vraṇitahṛdayena vyathayatā) Uttararāmacarita 4.3.

5) Occupied, engaged; विषक्ते त्वयि दुर्धर्ष हतः शूरसुतो बलात् (viṣakte tvayi durdharṣa hataḥ śūrasuto balāt) Mahābhārata (Bombay) 3.21.13.
