visavaṇēṃ (विसवणें).—v i (visāvā) To stop or rest; to pause or cease from. 2 To rest a while. 3 To get stiff or lose pliancy, ease, aptitude from rest or suspension of practice;--used of a limb, member, or sense, and of the throat or voice. 4 To sink into lethargy or lassitude;--used of a person or of his body, spirit, or a member. 5 To sink down or in; to give way or yield;--as a well, wall, post, beam.
