To melt with compassion or tenderness. 3 To become threadbare or thin; or to lose its closeness of texture and open out--cloth. 4 To crumble--rice or pulse under the operation of husking or of rough grinding. 5 To melt away--clouds &c.: to pass away as resolved or satisfied--doubts, desires, thoughts (ex. samādhi grāsūna samasta || virālā hēta sarvahī ||) : also to subside as sated or gratified--hunger, thirst &c. Ex. sakala hī tāhana virālī hō bhūka ||.
