Vinyāsasūtra (विन्याससूत्र) refers to one of the six contour lines, to be marked on the prepared ground before the construction of a building. These lines are collectively known as sūtraṣaṭka. The vinyāsasūtra is the line that corresponds to the projection of the upper most line of the plinth (adhiṣṭhāna).
