1) To walk along or through; विष्णुस्त्रेधा विचक्रमे (viṣṇustredhā vicakrame) 'took 3 steps'; जले विक्रममाणाया हनूमान् शतयोजनम् (jale vikramamāṇāyā hanūmān śatayojanam) Bhaṭṭikāvya 8.24.
2) To assail, overcome, conquer.
3) To cleave; split open (P.)
4) To advance, proceed.
5) To show prowess or valour; तत्प्रहरणान्याच्छिद्य विक्रामतः (tatpraharaṇānyācchidya vikrāmataḥ) Mālatīmādhava (Bombay) 8.9.
