Vigarhaṇa (विगर्हण) or Vigarhaṇā (विगर्हणा).—Censure, blame, reproach, abuse; यदि भीष्मः स्त्रियं हन्यात् सन्तः कुयुर्विगर्हणम् (yadi bhīṣmaḥ striyaṃ hanyāt santaḥ kuyurvigarhaṇam) Mahābhārata (Bombay) 5.192. 69; प्राप्ता नाम विगर्हणा स्थितिमतां मध्येऽनुजानामपि (prāptā nāma vigarhaṇā sthitimatāṃ madhye'nujānāmapi) Ve.1.12.
