To play or move about in with wild, tumultuous action;--as a demon in possession. 2 To behave with mad violence or wilfulness; to act outrageously, lawlessly, recklessly. 3 To enter and work in (as into the understanding or the feelings). Ex. pari- suni vanīṃ gāyī nāda tyā pāṃvayācā || vicariti sañjuni antarīṃ bhāva yācā ||. See sañcaraṇēṃ.

vicāraṇēṃ (विचारणें).—v c (vicāra) To ask; to propose or put to in inquiry. Note. This verb signifies rather To submit as the subject of consideration and answer than To question or interrogate; for the object of the verb is, not the person asked, but the matter proposed. 2 To inquire after or into the affairs and state of (kindly, compassionately, with view to relieve &c.) 3 To regard, heed, mind; to obey or observe carefully. 4 To account of value or importance; to prize or value. Ex. jēthēṃ irasāla āmbē āhēta tēthēṃ asalyā khaṭyāsa kōṇa vicāratō. 5 unc (Formed from vicāra with direct respect to the signification of that word.) To consider, investigate, ponder; to make the subject of reasoning. Note. The pronunciation is both as Witsharṇe and as Witsarṇe, and preferably the first.
