Source: Wikisource: A dictionary of Sanskrit grammarVibhaktyarthapradhāna (विभक्त्यर्थप्रधान).—An indeclinable, which is generally described as having the sense of a case affix as predominant in it; e.g. तत्र, अधः, नीचैः (tatra, adhaḥ, nīcaiḥ) etc.; some indeclinables have the sense of a root viz. the verb-activity as predominant; cf. किंचिदव्ययं विभक्त्यर्थ-प्रधानं किचित् क्रियाप्रधानम् (kiṃcidavyayaṃ vibhaktyartha-pradhānaṃ kicit kriyāpradhānam) M. Bh. on P. I.1.38.
