(nt. ? compare prec.; = AMg. id., Pali veḷuriya, Sanskrit vaiḍūrya), a gem, commonly rendered cat's-eye: °liyasya (both mss. ce-, one celurī°) maṇi Mahāvastu i.213.14 (printed here as prose, but a verse in corrupt form, so printed in repetition ii.16.18 which reads vaiḍūryasya); °liyasya ii.36.10 (verse); yathā ākāśe vimalo śuddho °yo maṇiḥ iii.216.14 (verse).
