varavaṇṭā (वरवंटा).—m (vara & vāṭaṇēṃ) A stone roller or muller (for the comminution of spiceries, drugs &c.) 2 fig. The roller or the rounded portion of the projection over a drawwell, for the convenience of raising the nozzle of the mōṭa. 3 fig. also varavaṇṭa m A gathering up, varavaṇṭā-form, (or the sensation so apprehended) of any muscular part through spasmodic contraction: also this affection, viz. spasm or cramp. v yē, uṭha. 4 A roll or longish heap of stones formed by each passenger casting one.
