Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionaryvarapaṇēṃ (वरपणें).—v c To draw or rub up (a mare or a female buffalo); i. e. to pass the hand into her niraṇa and work about, in order to excite her unto conception. 2 To draw or wipe along (cowdungwash, a spilled liquor, any slop or mess) with the hand. 3 To flurrup up (any liquid food). 4 To strip, draw, tear off, or scrape off, esp. with roughness or force. See, for illustration and for other senses, ōrapaṇēṃ, from which word this differs only in having the Desh form and a local application.
