Source: HereNow4u: Lord Śrī MahāvīraVāṇijyagrāma (वाणिज्यग्राम) is the name of a village visited by Mahāvīra during his 18th Year as Kevalī.—Leaving Daśārṇapura, the Lord arrived at Vāṇijyagrāma, after passing through Videha. Somila Brahmin, a Vaidika scholar reached with his students to see the Lord and while standing, inquired him about different types of journey (vihāra) like yāpanīya, avyābādha and prāsuka. The Lord completed his cāturmāsa Vāṇijyagrāma.
Vāṇijyagrāma was also visited by Mahāvīra during several of his years as Kevalī.
