Source: Sutta: The Pali Text Society's Pali-English DictionaryVaḷīna, at J. VI, 90 is not clear (in phrase jaṭaṃ vaḷīnaṃ paṅkagataṃ). The C. reads valinaṃ, paraphrased by ākulaṃ. Fausböll suggests malinaṃ. Should we accept reading valinaṃ? It would then be Acc. sg. of valin (q. v.). (Page 603)

Closely allied with Prakrit and Pali, Sanskrit is more exhaustive in both grammar and terms and has the most extensive collection of literature in the world, greatly surpassing its sister-languages Greek and Latin.
