Vājinanyāya (वाजिनन्याय).—(Mīmāṃsā) The rule that of the various matters resulting from something, only the most important one is प्रयोजक (prayojaka) while the rest are not प्रयोजक (prayojaka). This rule is established by जैमिनि (jaimini) and शबर (śabara) discussing the text, MS.4.1.22-24.
