Vaiyākaraṇasiddhāntakaumudīṭīkā (वैयाकरणसिद्धान्तकौमुदीटीका).—(or सिद्धान्त-कौमुदीव्याख्या (siddhānta-kaumudīvyākhyā)) a general name given to the large number of commentaries written by members of the line of pupils, and pupils of pupils of Bhattoji. The well-known among the commentaries are प्रौढमनोरमा (prauḍhamanoramā) by the author himself, तत्त्वबोधिनी (tattvabodhinī) by ज्ञानेन्द्रसरस्वती, सुबोधिनी (jñānendrasarasvatī, subodhinī) by जयकृष्णभट्ट यौनी बालमनोरमा (jayakṛṣṇabhaṭṭa yaunī bālamanoramā) by वासुदेवदीक्षित (vāsudevadīkṣita), and crowning all, the लघुशब्देन्दुशेखर (laghuśabdenduśekhara) by नागेशभट्ट (nāgeśabhaṭṭa). The प्रौढमनोरमा (prauḍhamanoramā) has got a learned commentary written by हरिदीक्षित (haridīkṣita) called लघुशब्दरत्न (laghuśabdaratna) or शब्दरत्न (śabdaratna), which also has on it commentaries named भावप्रक्राश (bhāvaprakrāśa) by बाळंभट्ट (bāḷaṃbhaṭṭa) and शब्दरत्नदीप (śabdaratnadīpa) by कल्याणमल्ल (kalyāṇamalla). The Laghusabdendusekhara has got commentaries reaching about ten in number.
