Vāgvivartinī) refers to “(one who is the fourfold) transformation of Speech”, according to the Jayadrathayāmala 3.16.14-15.—Accordingly, “The arising of the supreme energy takes place in the Kula which is consciousness and the supreme abode. She is Bhāsā who is the fourfold transformation of Speech (vāgvivartinī) and illumines everything. She is eternal (nityā), innate, subtle and unfolds the eight Kulas (of the Mothers)”.
