Uttarāṣāḍhanakṣatra (उत्तराषाढनक्षत्र) is another name for Uttarāṣāḍha: a particular section of the ecliptic. Nakṣatra means “Lunar mansion” and corresponds to a specific region of the sky through which the moon passes each day. Uttarāṣāḍha means “second of the aṣāḍhā” (where aṣāḍhā means “the invincible one” being the name of a constellation) and is associated with the deity known as Viśvadeva (All divinities).
