Source: Shodhganga: Temples and cult of Sri Rama in TamilnaduUttarabharata (“North India”) contains 11 out of the 108 divyadesas according to Priyavaccan Pillai’s compendium of the Ramayana based on the Nalayirativviyappirapantam.—Temples beyond Venkatam, may have to be brought under Uttara-Bharata. Venkatam, according to Cankam tradition, was part of the Tamil Country. It is usually counted under North India.
