Source: Shodhganga: Temple management in the ĀgamasUtsavabimba (उत्सवबिम्ब) refers to a type of “temple implement (instrument)” as described in the Karaṇalakṣaṇavidhi-paṭala section of the Uttara-Kāmikāgama.—It is also the duty of the administration to provide the requisite instruments for worship. These must be of the right specification. Every temple must have its own astradeva, utsavabimba and devopakaraṇa. These mustn’t be shared between temples. Using old instruments should be compensated with additional japa by the Ācārya.
Shaiva (शैव, śaiva) or Shaivism (śaivism) represents a tradition of Hinduism worshiping Shiva as the supreme being. Closely related to Shaktism, Shaiva literature includes a range of scriptures, including Tantras, while the root of this tradition may be traced back to the ancient Vedas.
