uṭhapaḷa (उठपळ).—f (uṭhaṇēṃ & paḷaṇēṃ) Reiterated running off or away (as of a discontented servant, an ill-treated girl from the house of her mother in law &c.) v lāva. 2 (Causing to run away reiterately.) Oppressive or harassing treatment. v lāva. 3 Restlessness or fidgetiness; giddy running hither and thither. v kara, lāva, māṇḍa. 4 Rising to start off or depart. v kara. 5 ad Ever and anon (i. e. restlessly).
