Uṭaikkal (உடைக்கல்) [uṭai-kal] noun < உடை³ [udai³] +. Red ochre, used in dyeing; காவிக்கல். [kavikkal.] (தைலவருக்கச்சுருக்கம் தைல. [thailavarukkachurukkam thaila.] 33.)

1. Prop, set against a slanting wall or a falling tree; தாங்கு முட்டுக்கால். [thangu muttukkal.]
