Uruppaṭi (உருப்படி) noun < rūpa + படி-. [padi-.] [Telugu: uruviḍi, M. uruppaḍi.]

1. Item, piece, any article admitting of counting, unit; கணக்கிடக் கூடிய பொருள். நித்யம் ஏழுருப்படி பணியாரம் [kanakkidag kudiya porul. nithyam ezhuruppadi paniyaram] (கோயிலொழுகு [koyilozhugu] 69).

2. Article of value, useful thing; உபயோகமான பொருள். உருப்படியாக என்னிடம் ஒன்றுமில்லை. [upayogamana porul. uruppadiyaga ennidam onrumillai.] Colloq.

3. Piece of music; இசைப்பாட்டு. அவனுக்கு நூறு உருப்படி பாடம் உண்டு. [isaippattu. avanukku nuru uruppadi padam undu.]
