1) Friction, rubbing or pressing down, crushing under one's weight; अन्यासु तावदुपमर्दसहासु भृङ्गं लोलं विनोदय मनः सुमनोलतासु (anyāsu tāvadupamardasahāsu bhṛṅgaṃ lolaṃ vinodaya manaḥ sumanolatāsu) S. D. (where u° also means rough handling or enjoyment).
2) Destruction, injury, killing.
3) Reproach, abuse, insult, harsh or insulting treatment; Mṛcchakaṭika 1.
4) Unhusking.
5) Refutation of a charge.
6) Stirring, shaking.
