ukaḷīta (उकळीत).—f (ukaḷaṇēṃ) Gathering in (of sums due); collecting (of victuals) by begging from door to door. 2 Sums or alms so collected. 3 The fees in kind exacted by the śēkhadāra &c. from garden-stuff, grocery &c. brought to market. 4 The collections by Village-officers of dues from the Ryots. 5 The memorandum sent round to the dhārēkarī, announcing the amount of each instalment due.
