ughaḍamāthā (उघडमाथा).—ad Openly, publicly, abroad, with broad front or unblushing mien--whoring, swindling, reveling &c.

ughaḍāmāthā (उघडामाथा).—m (A clear open forehead or front.) An unrepressed, unshamed, unblushing front or mien:--whether in a good or a bad sense. 2 fig. Justification, vindication, acquittal. 3 Exemption from censure or reproach. Ex. kasabiṇīnēṃ śinda- ḷakī kēlī tara tilā kōṇa bōlatō mūḷacāca ticā u0 ughaḍyāmāthyānēṃ phiraṇēṃ-vāgaṇēṃ-cālaṇēṃ-jāṇēṃ To go about without shame or repression (whether as acquitted from a charge or as defying censure).
