Udvahana (उद्वहन).—

1) Marrying; श्वो भाविनि त्वमजितोद्वहने विदर्भान् (śvo bhāvini tvamajitodvahane vidarbhān) Bhāgavata 1.52.41.

2) Supporting, holding or lifting up, bearing, carrying; भुवः प्रयुक्तोद्वहनक्रियायाः (bhuvaḥ prayuktodvahanakriyāyāḥ) R.13.8; कैलास- नाथोद्वहनाय भूयः (kailāsa- nāthodvahanāya bhūyaḥ) 14.2; Mālatīmādhava (Bombay) 1; R.2.18; Kumārasambhava 3.13.
