udhāra (उधार).—m (uddhāra S) Buying and selling upon trust; or upon borrowed money. v kara. Pr. udhāra āṇi andhāra Purchases upon credit are as purchases made in the dark, i. e. are extravagantly dear. 2 The money owed upon goods so purchases or sold: also such goods. 3 Debt not bearing interest; a trust or a loan: also goods or things lent or borrowed. Pr. udhārācēṃ pōtēṃ savā hāta ritēṃ.
