1) To light up, illuminate, render beautiful, decorate; ornament; उद्भासितं मङ्गलसंविधाभिः (udbhāsitaṃ maṅgalasaṃvidhābhiḥ) R.7.16; काले घनोद्भासिते (kāle ghanodbhāsite) Mṛcchakaṭika 5.35.
2) (fig.) To bring into prominence, elevate, exalt; उद्भासिता- खिलखलस्य (udbhāsitā- khilakhalasya) Bhartṛhari 2.59.
