1) [noun] a waste product of vertebrates and many invertebrates, secreted by the kidneys or other excretory structures, which is a yellowish liquid containing urea, certain salts, etc., in mammals stored in the bladder and discharged periodically from the body through the urethra; urine;2) [noun] ಉಚ್ಚೆ ಕುಡಿದರೂ ತನ್ನಿಚ್ಚೆಯಲಿರಬೇಕು [ucce kudidaru tannicceyalirabeku] ucce kuḍidrū tannicceyalirabēku (prov.) living at one’s own will is preferred to great wealth; ಉಚ್ಚೆ ಕುಡಿಯಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಉಪ್ಪು ಕೇಳು [ucce kudiyalikke uppu kelu] uccekuḍiylikke uppu kēḷu (prov.) to put up a pompous show of one’s status however despicable it is; ಉಚ್ಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೀನು ಹಿಡಿ [ucceyalli minu hidi] ucceyalli mīnu hiḍi (prov.) to be mean in saving small amount of money (ignoring better ways for saving); to be petty and parsimonious; ಉಚ್ಚೆ ಹುಯ್ದುಕೊ [ucce huyduko] ucce huyduko (prov.)
