Tyak (त्यक्).—tad. affix त्य (tya) added in the Saisika senses to the words दक्षिणा, प्रश्चात् (dakṣiṇā, praścāt) and पुरस् (puras) ; e. g. दाक्षिणात्यः,पाश्चात्यः, पौरस्त्यः, दाक्षिणात्यिका (dākṣiṇātyaḥ, pāścātyaḥ, paurastyaḥ, dākṣiṇātyikā) cf. P. IV. 2. 98.
