Two kinds of Selflessness:—A technical term in Buddhism corresponding to the Sanskrit nairātmya defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 116):

  1. The selflessness of all things (dharma-nairātmya),
  2. The selflessness of people (pudgala-nairātmya).

The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., ‘two kinds of selflessness’). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
