Tuṇḍicela (तुण्डिचेल).—nt. (with this meaning of tuṇḍi, excellent, related to tuṇḍa, q.v., compare Sanskrit mukha in same meaning; Prakrit tuṇḍa = agra-bhāga, [Paia-sadda-mahaṇṇavo]), a fine garment: Mahāvyutpatti 5884 = Chin. beautiful garment; Tibetan bzhag (gzhag) gos, which I cannot interpret thus, but the Chin. is confirmed by the surrounding words (5883 kalpaduṣyam) and by Divyāvadāna 221.19 (kalpadūṣyavṛkṣaiś caturvidhāni) tuṇḍicelāni (this om. in mss.) tais tuṇḍicelaiś caturvidhāni kalpadūṣyāṇi.
