Tuṃgabhadre (ತುಂಗಭದ್ರೆ):—

1) [noun] a confluence of two rivers, Tunge and Bhadre in Karnāṭaka flowing from the western ghats eastward through Andhra Pradesh into the Bay of Bengal (aprox. 400 miles).
