Trikoṇa?] refers to a “triangle”, according to Tantric texts such as the Kubjikāmata-tantra, the earliest popular and most authoritative Tantra of the Kubjikā cult.—Accordingly, “in the midst of the three energies is the deity whose form is a sprout and her body the shape of a Yoni (bhagākāra). I praise (the goddess) present in the sacred seat of the Triangle (triṣkoṇa-pīṭha)”.
