Travaṇa (त्रवण) is the name a locality mentioned in Rājaśekhara’s 10th-century Kāvyamīmāṃsā.—This part locates in the western India. Rājaśekhara noticed that the people of Surāsṭra and Travana region could speak Sanskrit fluently with an Apabhraṃśa accent.
