Trailokyamātṛ (त्रैलोक्यमातृ) refers to the “mother of the three worlds”, and is used as an epithet of Satī, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.2.21. Accordingly as Brahmā narrated to Nārada:—“[...] know from me what Śiva did with pleasure on reaching His abode after His marriage with goddess Satī, Dakṣa’s daughter and the mother of the three worlds (Trailokyamātṛ)”.
