She holds a noose, a goad, a drinking vessel, and makes the gesture of the Yoni. She sits on a Yoni and the Yoni is her flag, signalling as clearly as can be her strong association with Kāma.1 She is said to make ‘the universe mad with passion’ and she is endowed with the ‘eternal bliss’ which is the spiritual joy of sexual union. Her worship makes the yogi irresistibly attractive to women. Thus Trailokyadrāviṇī is a typical erotic Yoginī. [...]”.
