From Chapter Six (第六回 [di liu hui]) of Dream of the Red Chamber (《紅樓夢 [hong lou meng]》): "Everything in the room was dazzling (耀眼 [yao yan]) and vying for brilliance (爭光 [zheng guang]), making one dizzy and lightheaded."
