A vulgar word used only with kāḍhaṇēṃ (and, as v i, nighaṇēṃ) in the sense To flay, or to bang soundly. Ex. tō itakyānta ālā tara ṭō0 kāḍhīla, or with nighaṇēṃ in the figurative sense To be fleeced or stripped bare, i. e. to be ruined or impoverished; to incur great expense. Ex. tyā prayōjanānta mājhēṃ ṭō0 nighālēṃ.
