Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarytōṇḍakaḍī (तोंडकडी).—f A beam laid along on the outside of a wall, to receive the heads of the beams laid within. 2 A ring by which cattle are tied up. 3 The timber which passes along and under the rafters at the extremity of a tiled roof. 4 The head or end of a kaḍī or link (of a chain or trinket &c.) 5 Agreement of the two sides of an account. Used with such words as vahīcī-khātyācī-tārakhēcī and with v miḷa, jama, juḷa, yē, utara, cuka, banda hō. This agreement is signified or marked by the double line (?) called dulaṅgī.
