Source: Shodhganga: Temples and cult of Sri Rama in TamilnaduTiruvali-Tirunakari refers to one of the 108 divyadesas according to Priyavaccan Pillai’s compendium of the Ramayana based on the Nalayirativviyappirapantam.—Tiruvali-Tirunakari is the twin-divyadesa. Both are counted as one in Tamil tradition (cf. Tancavur).
The Purana (पुराण, purāṇas) refers to Sanskrit literature preserving ancient India’s vast cultural history, including historical legends, religious ceremonies, various arts and sciences.
