For example, at Tirumūru there is a slab lying in front of the temple of the village goddess which Records a gift of 2000 kuli of land as devadāna to god Tiru-Agattīśvaram-Uḍaiya-Mahādevar in Māṇapākkam by Vikramachola-Mūvendavelān.
This inscription in the Tamil language belongs to king Kulottuṅga-Choladeva of the Chola dynasty.
