Source: Shodhganga: New look on the kushan bengaliTildah in West Medinipur district is an excavated site revealing Kushan presence.—Tildah is located on 22°15' North and 87°20' East in Pingla police station in Medinipur district in west Bengal. This place is beside the ancient course of river Kansai. Although no structure of Pre Gupta period was revealed, a shred of NBPW and a pre Gupta terracotta were noted. Of the pre Gupta finds, mention may be made of a terracotta figurine where the execution of Kushan art in clearly visible in dress and technique.
