ṭikaviṇēṃ (टिकविणें).—v c (ṭikaṇēṃ) To make to endure, last, or hold out. 2 (In the cant of shopkeepers.) To secure or nab a customer or chapman; to fix or nail him as a purchaser: also to pay down on the nail (the price of a purchase or an article chaffered about).
