天華 [tian hua]—(Tiānhuá) — [Miscellaneous Term] Exquisite flowers in heaven. Also, beautiful flowers among humans that are like heavenly objects are called Tiānhuá. The Mahāprajñāpāramitā Upadeśa (智度論 [zhi du lun] Zhìdù Lùn) Volume 9 states: "What are heavenly flowers? Heavenly flowers are fragrant, their fragrance carried by the wind. Furthermore, according to the custom of India (天竺國 [tian zhu guo] Tiānzhú Guó), all good things are called 'heavenly objects' (天物 [tian wu] tiānwù). Even if they are not flowers from heaven, because of their exquisite beauty, they are therefore called heavenly flowers."

天花 [tiān huā] [tian hua]—
1. Disease Name: (Smallpox) has a history of several thousand years. It is a human infectious disease caused by the 病毒 [bing du] (Smallpox virus), highly contagious, and humans are the only host of the 病毒 [bing du] (Smallpox virus). (Smallpox) can cause varying degrees of infection in humans, with a fatality rate of about 1-30%. Upon onset, a rash appears, with dense lesions on the face, arms, and legs. These lesions are round, tense, and deeply embedded in the skin, appearing within 1-2 days and then spreading throughout the body. The lesions turn into pustules. In the second week of the rash, the lesions begin to dry, and the scabs peel off after about 3-4 weeks. Other symptoms include high fever, fatigue, headache, and back pain. The 世界衛生組織 [shi jie wei sheng zu zhi] (World Health Organization) officially declared in 1980 that (Smallpox) had been eradicated from the Earth and completely stopped 牛痘疫苗 [niu dou yi miao] (smallpox vaccinations). (Smallpox) became the first disease eradicated by humankind from nature.
2. 雪花 [xue hua] (Snowflakes): From the 宋 [song] (Song Dynasty) poet 陸游 [lu you] (Lu You)'s poem 〈擬峴臺觀雪 [ni xian tai guan xue]〉 (Viewing Snow from Nixian Terrace): "Mountains and rivers disappear, snow forms a sea; chaotically falling (heavenly flowers/snowflakes) naturally take their form." Also written as 天華 [tian hua] (heavenly flowers).
